Northern California Renaissance Faire. You wont want to miss
this silly, swashbuckling, testosterone-fueled romp, where the audience gets
into the act, and the laughs are non-stop!

Commedia Volante
The very roots of
Renaissance Theatre come to life through the colorful and hilarious form of
Commedia Del Arte. This modest band of barmy mirthful pranksters
captivate the audience with a unique design of provocative improvisational
Italian comedy. See the classic characters and scenarios that set the
foundation for generations of sketch comedy.

Experience the beautiful
music and traditional dances of the exotic Serenata performed by the musical cast of Commedia Volante.

The Lord Mayor's Pageant
His most honorable Lord Mayor Ezekiel Willing and his sister Dame Phoebe certainly have a lot on their hands as they furiously plan for the Queen's arrival. As they celebrate a bountiful harvest, rumors abound that her majesty has chosen Willingtown to make an "important announcement". The whole town is teeming with anticipation. Why has her majesty chosen Willingtown for her holiday?

The Queen's Royal Reception
Her majesty arrives in Willingtown just in time to celebrate her Christening day. The whole town is brimming with anticipation and merriment as they present an array of spectacular gifts to the queen. As the celebration commences, several foreign dignitaries arrive to present her majesty with their own special gifts. It becomes clear they have more on their minds than cakes, ale and mirth as they pressure her majesty to choose a husband from amongst their foreign princes.

~ The Fools' Stage ~
BrooN
With a wit drier than the Sahara, BRooN will
leave you smirking and giggling throughout the day. It's been concluded for
some time that BRooN doesn't eat fire to impress the crowds, he just likes the
taste of the kerosene. A regular headliner on the national faire circuit, BRooN
is a crowd favorite. Recommended attire: straight jackets.

Sound & Fury
Better than Shakespeare, it's "Fakespeare!" The comic trio of Sound &
Fury™ return to Willingtown after several award-winning world-tours,
to bring you part two of their 'classic' bawdy Greek parody-theatrical
saga, "Testaclese Descending" as well as "Hamlet & Juliet"
Richard, Patrick and Ryan's fast-paced one-liners will have you coming
back to watch the plays multiple times, just to catch all the wit!

MooNiE the Magnif'Cent
Comedy to be seen and barely heard, Moonie
brings an indescribable style of showmanship rare to be found. Follow MooNiE
into a world where what appears to be, becomes apparently what it was meant to
be. Though maybe not! Fire on a tightrope ends a show jammed with tricks of all
kind. MooNiE always packs the house and leaves the audience wanting more. Check
the schedule and get there early. Seats fill up quickly.

The Merry Wives of Windsor
Windsor's distinctive tight-harmony sound is surpassed only by their comic

Pipe And Bowl Morris
and Country Dancers
Keeping alive the roots of Renaissance
culture, The Pipe and Bowl Dancers take to the stage and the streets performing
classic Morris Dances with bells and scarves along with traditional
English country dancing as well. They are always happy to teach a dance for
those that wish to learn.

Siamsa La Cheile
These lively lads and lasses will capture
your hearts with their traditional Celtic dancing and music. These dances
have grown in popularity in recent years and are performed in their original
style and costuming. This is a a great show for the whole family.

The Magnificent Humble Boys
Presenting the world's greatest Russian circus direct from a sold out season in Siberia. Hundreds of dancing bears, monkeys, acrobatics and fire breathing otters. Well, that is, unless they don't all get past immigration. Then two performers will have to do the whole circus for you out of a trunk. The show even made Ivan the Terrible feel "not-so-bad." Kids and adults alike will revel in this farcical spectacle.

The Sea Dogs
What do you do with a drunken sailor? These
legendary masters of maritime music answer that age old question in song. Fill
your tankard at the Rusty Cutlass and come and sing along.
Some deem them pirates and some call them sailors, we just call them fun.

This colorful troupe of curious wanderers bring you a precious cargo of passionate music and dance from the Exotic Eastern lands of the bold Saracen and the wild Dervish.

Capt'n Jack Spareribs
There are a lot of pirates around. But you can be certain, this is the one and only Jack Spareribs! No... Not that other Capt'n Jack... this one is even stranger. This pirate not only wields a sword nicely but also juggles knives and fruit, spins brass bowls on his face and will fool you with all manner of trickery! Jack Spareribs' show has something for everybody particularly if you like an obnoxious talking monkey named Maynard.

The husband and wife team of Cozy-n-Mez perform mystical, comedy magic and illusions to the delight of children and adults alike. Amazing sleight of hand, daring escapes, and death-defying feats of magic will keep you laughing and on the edge of your hay bales.

The Merry Waits of Willington
The Merry Waits of Willington are singers of Madrigals to Canons to Songs of the day, all unaccompanied by anything other than other human voices. We sing songs in three and four part harmony and encourage you to sing along with those you know. We may even teach you a song or two!

Last Call
Come set a spell with the residents of Willingtown as they ring out the day in song. The Sea Dogs, The Naughty Minstrels and friends share laughter, ale and songs of revelry.
Performing at the Coughing Sheep tavern on Saturdays at 5:00 and at the Curtain call Stage on Sunday at 5:30.
